Pauline Hanson, the leader of One Nation, has indicated that any potential cooperation between her party and the Liberals would be "up to Angus Taylor." Speaking at the annual Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) in Brisbane on Saturday, Hanson criticised the Coalition but also expressed openness to an arrangement to defeat Labor.

Angus Taylor, the Liberal leader, was the first guest speaker at the conference. His office described his opening address as a "keynote." However, CPAC advertised Taylor, Hanson, and Matt Canavan as co-headliners.

Taylor's speech, which included an apology for past Liberal government policies on immigration, pandemic spending, and net zero, was met with heckles from some attendees. In contrast, Hanson received a standing ovation before she even took the stage, with her speech focusing on economic issues, climate policies, and "mass migration."

Hanson stated in a press conference that she would not seek ministry positions for One Nation in a Coalition government, nor would she accept Coalition ministers in a One Nation government, appearing to rule out a formal agreement.
