Razorlight drummer Andy Burrows has announced his new solo album, 'Map Of The World', which is scheduled for release on January 29, 2027. The album will be available via Burrows’ own Free Pass Records and is his first solo record in seven years.
Written entirely by Burrows and primarily recorded at his home studio in Gloucestershire, 'Map Of The World' will include contributions from Editors frontman Tom Smith, Manic Street Preachers’ Nicky Wire, and We Are Scientists’ Keith Murray. Burrows’ younger brother Ben and his daughter Joni also feature on the album.
The first single from the album, 'Nothing Matters Anyway', has been released. This track features Keith Murray on guitar and is described as a short, bombastic song with '70s-inspired instrumentation and layered vocal harmonies.
The album will also feature 'Seriously', a track that reunites Burrows with Editors singer Tom Smith. The pair previously collaborated on two albums under the name Smith & Burrows.
