A Somerset farmer chose an unusual mode of transport for her wedding last weekend, arriving at the church in Mark on her favourite cow. Victoria Lee, 37, said she wanted her Swiss cow, White Chocolate Button, to play a significant role in her wedding day because "she is pretty much my best friend".
Ms Lee, who grew up on a farm in Dorset, stated she began riding cows as a child because ponies were not permitted. She decided to train White Chocolate Button to take her to the church, having previously dressed the cow as a ghost for Halloween.
After the ceremony, Ms Lee and her new husband Mike returned to their farm to milk the cows. They later joined guests at the wedding reception in Mark.
