Firefighters have tackled a blaze on Rollestone Road, Holbury, that engulfed two bungalows after starting in a hedgerow on Sunday evening.
The fire spread from the hedgerow to two vehicles on a driveway before reaching the adjoining properties. Both bungalows suffered significant damage, including roof collapses, according to Hampshire & Isle of Wight Fire & Rescue Service.
One person was passed into the care of the ambulance service. Crews from multiple fire services, including an aerial platform, attended the incident. The fire service stated on Monday morning that the fire had been extinguished.
A joint fire and police investigation is under way to establish the cause of the blaze.
