The Chicks are celebrating the 20th anniversary of their album Taking the Long Way with a series of performances. The trio played the second of three sold-out shows at New York’s Beacon Theatre on Monday night.
The album, released two decades ago, was played in its entirety during the first act of the show. The performances also revisited clips from Shut Up and Sing, a 2006 documentary about the band.
Lead singer Natalie Maines, along with Martie Maguire and Emily Strayer, performed the 14-track run-through. The second act featured a selection of the group's hits.
