Three teenage boys, all aged 17, have been charged in connection with the alleged rape of a 17-year-old girl at a home in Sydney's south-west on Saturday.
New South Wales police arrested the three boys on Wednesday. As part of their investigation, police searched several homes in the Macarthur region and seized electronic devices, according to a statement released on Thursday.
One of the boys faces 11 charges, including six counts of aggravated sexual assault in company with others and three counts of rape. Another boy has been charged with six counts of sexual assault in company with others, rape, and common assault. The third boy was charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault in company with others.
All three boys were held in custody overnight and were scheduled to appear in a children's court on Thursday.
