The Tour de France Femmes continues today with stage six, a 153km journey from Montbrison to Tournon-sur-Rhône. This stage is more than a transitional route, featuring six categorised climbs and a total of 2,600m of vertical ascent.
The race will navigate through French countryside, concluding on the banks of the Rhône river in the Ardéche department. Riders are preparing for the upcoming challenge of Mont Ventoux on Friday, which is considered one of the hardest climbs in cycling.
Yesterday's stage saw Demi Vollering, Marlen Reusser, and Kasia Niewiadoma competing for victory, a draining event following Tuesday's individual time trial.
