Ubisoft has confirmed that 56 songs are to be removed from the Just Dance+ library next month. The company stated that the removals are a result of expiring music rights licences.
Just Dance+ is a paid subscription service offering access to a song library for various Just Dance titles, including Just Dance 2026. Ubisoft announced yesterday, August 4, that these songs would be taken off the service at the start of September.
In a blog post, Ubisoft said, "As part of our library management and upon expiration of their licensing agreements, 56 songs will be removed from Just Dance+." The company added that it has "carefully reviewed usage metrics and taken great care to avoid removing community favorites."
In place of the removed tracks, four new songs will be added: 'Burn' and 'Light' by Ellie Goulding, 'Can't Feel My Face' by The Weeknd, and 'Domino' by Jessie J. The announcement has drawn criticism from fans online.
